Enter the living field of the eclipse through Jyotish, Kundalini Yoga, pranayama, mantra, meditation and sacred release.
WHEN THE LIGHT DISAPPEARS, WHAT BECOMES VISIBLE?
On August 12, 2026, the Moon will pass before the Sun, creating one of nature’s most extraordinary events: a total solar eclipse.
The path of totality will cross Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain and a small corner of Portugal. Much of Europe, parts of North America and northwestern Africa will witness a partial eclipse.
But an eclipse is more than an astronomical spectacle.
In the language of Jyotish, the Sun represents the organizing light of the Self—our vitality, clarity, authority, purpose and capacity to see who we are.
The Moon represents the mind—our emotions, memories, attachments, instincts and inner experience.
When the Moon obscures the Sun, something profound is symbolically enacted:
The accumulated contents of the mind temporarily cover the light of the Self.
What has been hidden may rise.
What has been entangled may reveal itself.
What has quietly governed our choices may finally become visible.
This eclipse occurs in Ashlesha Nakshatra, the domain of the serpent—the force that coils, binds, penetrates, protects, poisons, heals and transforms.
This is why we are gathering.
Not to fear the eclipse.
Not to dramatize it.
Not to chase another spiritual spectacle.
We will enter it consciously—as a threshold for honest seeing, energetic purification and release.
THE SERPENT THAT BINDS AND HEALS
Ashlesha comes from a Sanskrit root associated with embracing, entwining, clinging and encircling.
It reveals the invisible cords beneath visible life:
- Emotional bonds that have become entanglements
- Family loyalties we continue to carry unconsciously
- Ancestral fears mistaken for personal truth
- Attachments that once protected us but now imprison us
- Unspoken contracts within relationships
- The need to control what we do not trust
- Patterns of seduction, avoidance, manipulation or self-deception
- Identities constructed around survival rather than truth
The serpent itself is neither good nor evil.
Its venom can destroy.
Its medicine can heal.
It can bind consciousness to an old pattern—or become the awakened current that liberates it.
Ashlesha asks us to develop the discernment to know the difference.
What are you holding because it is sacred—and what are you holding because you are afraid to let go?
This eclipse invites us to meet the hidden architecture of our attachments and reclaim the life-force trapped within them.
THE ECLIPSE IS NOT THE ENEMY
Traditional cultures often approached eclipses with silence, fasting, prayer, mantra and retreat from ordinary activity.
These practices were not necessarily rooted in superstition. They recognized that an eclipse is an interruption of the familiar rhythm—an interval in which ordinary patterns may become less stable and subtler impressions more perceptible.
An eclipse does not force transformation upon us.
It does not automatically erase karma, guarantee awakening or create catastrophe.
It reveals.
It intensifies.
It interrupts.
It gives us an opportunity to notice what was already moving beneath the surface.
The eclipse is not here to punish you.
It is here to interrupt your ability to remain unconscious.
A RARE MOMENT OF ALIGNMENT
Our gathering begins at 7:00 PM CEST—almost precisely as totality begins somewhere on Earth.
Totality begins globally at approximately 4:58 PM UTC, and the eclipse reaches its worldwide maximum at approximately 5:46 PM UTC.
As we enter meditation, the Moon’s shadow will already be moving across the planet. During our practice, the eclipse will approach its maximum.
We will not simply speak about the eclipse after it has passed.
We will sit together inside the living field of the event.
This makes our gathering more than a class.
It becomes a collective moment of witnessing—a conscious pause between what has been and what is ready to emerge.

WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE
During this special 90-minute live online experience, Prakash will guide you through a carefully held progression of teaching, Kundalini Yoga and meditation.
The Jyotish of the Eclipse
We will explore the deeper symbolism of the Sun, Moon, the lunar nodes and Ashlesha Nakshatra—and what their meeting reveals about identity, emotional memory, attachment, inherited conditioning and authentic power.
The Serpent Psychology of Ashlesha
We will examine how the binding force of Ashlesha appears through emotional entanglement, compulsive loyalty, secrecy, control, unhealthy intimacy and the fear of releasing what has become familiar.
Kundalini Yoga for the Pranic Field
A focused Kundalini Yoga practice will help regulate the nervous system, circulate stagnant energy and prepare the body to remain steady while deeper material moves through awareness.
Eclipse Pranayama
We will work consciously with the breath—not to force activation, but to create sufficient inner space for perception, purification and integration.
Mantra and Meditation
A potent eclipse meditation will gather the mind, strengthen the inner witness and help release identification with patterns that no longer belong to your becoming.
The Ritual of Release
You will be guided through a personal inquiry into what you are ready to disentangle, return, forgive or consciously complete.
Integration and Sankalpa
We will close by establishing a clear inner orientation—not merely an intention born from desire, but a sankalpa arising from deeper truth.
THIS EXPERIENCE IS FOR YOU IF…
- You feel that an old identity has reached the end of its life, but you have not yet fully released it.
- You repeatedly find yourself inside the same emotional or relational pattern.
- You are carrying family expectations, ancestral loyalties or inherited fears that may not truly belong to you.
- You can feel energy being lost through attachment, overthinking, control, secrecy, resentment or unresolved intimacy.
- You are moving through a period of uncertainty, transition or inner transformation.
- You are drawn to the wisdom of Jyotish, Kundalini Yoga, mantra and sacred practice.
- You want to meet this eclipse with presence rather than fear, fantasy or distraction.
- You want to participate in a consciously held global field of practice.
You do not need previous experience with Kundalini Yoga or meditation.
You only need a willingness to be honest with yourself.

THE QUESTIONS ASHLESHA ASKS
During this eclipse, we will sit with questions such as:
Which inheritance is truly mine to carry?
Which burden has simply been passed from one generation to the next?
Where has love become entanglement?
Where has protection become control?
What am I afraid will happen if I stop holding everything together?
Which truth have I sensed but refused to name?
What part of my power remains trapped inside an old attachment?
What becomes possible when I no longer organize my life around survival?
These are not questions to answer quickly.
They are doors.
WHAT YOU MAY EXPERIENCE
Every person meets an eclipse differently. This practice makes no promise of instant transformation, nor does it require you to manufacture an emotional experience.
You may encounter:
- Greater clarity about a repeating emotional pattern
- Recognition of an unconscious attachment or inherited loyalty
- A deeper understanding of where your energy has been bound
- Relief from the pressure to maintain an outdated identity
- Increased awareness of your energetic and relational boundaries
- A more regulated relationship with uncertainty
- A renewed sense of personal authority
- A quieter, steadier connection to your inner witness
The purpose is not to become someone new in one evening.
The purpose is to see clearly enough that you can no longer unknow what has been revealed.
HOW TO PREPARE
If possible, create a little more simplicity around the day of the eclipse.
Before the gathering:
- Eat lightly and consciously.
- Avoid unnecessary stimulation, conflict and excessive social media.
- Drink sufficient water.
- Complete your meal before the event if possible.
- Bathe and wear clean, comfortable clothing.
- Prepare a quiet place where you can participate through Zoom without interruption.
- Bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion or chair.
- Keep a shawl or blanket nearby.
- Bring a journal and pen.
- Place a candle or small oil lamp on your altar, if appropriate for your space.
- Join the Zoom room a few minutes early.
You may also sit in silence for a few minutes before joining.
Please do not arrive while rushing from one activity into another. Give yourself enough time to cross the threshold consciously.

Will the event be recorded?

Is this event connected to a particular religion?
No belief system is required. The gathering draws from the wisdom and practices of Kundalini Yoga and Vedic Jyotish while remaining open to sincere practitioners from every background.
WHEN THE SERPENT RELEASES ITS HOLD
There are moments when life asks us to build.
There are moments when life asks us to persevere.
And there are moments when life asks us to stop carrying what has already completed its purpose.
Ashlesha does not ask for superficial positivity.
It asks for intimacy with truth.
It asks whether the embrace we have called love has become a form of bondage.
It asks whether the loyalty we have called sacred is keeping an ancestral wound alive.
It asks whether the identity we keep defending was ever truly ours.
The serpent does not shed its skin only because the old skin is damaged.
It sheds because the old skin can no longer contain what is growing within it.
On August 12, we gather at the threshold between concealment and revelation, attachment and liberation, inherited identity and authentic power.
Come as you are.
Bring what has remained unnamed.
Bring the pattern you are finally ready to see.
Bring the part of you that already knows it is time.
The light will disappear only briefly.
What it reveals may change the way you see everything.
