Breaking Self-Hypnosis Kriya

A dynamic meditation to awaken awareness, dissolve ego-patterns, and access divine creativity.

Exercise 1Breaking the Self-Hypnosis

Time: 5 minutes
Eyes: Closed
Posture:

  • Sit with a straight spine.
  • Make a fist with each hand, thumbs covering the other fingers.
  • Extend only the index finger outward.
  • Keep the rest of the body absolutely still from the elbows upward.

Movement:

  • Move the forearms alternately forward and backward from the elbows.
  • Movements should be short and sharp, like electric shocks.

Focus:

  • Maintain full awareness that you are moving—this conscious movement breaks the “self-hypnosis” of the ego.
  • If you ignore your negative self-talk, you will begin to break down mental walls.

Experience:

  • With conscious jerks, you may enter a new hypnotic state—a deeper trance where there is no pain, vision becomes clear, and the sense of distance disappears.
  • This disappearance of distance is experienced as love—not as an absence, but as a profound presence.

Exercise 2Focus on the Nose Tip

Time: 5 minutes
Movement: Same as Exercise 1 (sharp alternate forearm jerks with index fingers extended).
Eyes: Open, gazing steadily at the tip of the nose.

Benefit:

  • Strengthens the nervous system.
  • Helps conquer nervous disorders.
  • Breaks the ego’s hypnotic spell and brings you into present awareness.

Exercise 3Mantra & Spinal Stretch

Time: 5 minutes
Movement: Same as before, but with each movement chant aloud:

“THAO THAO THAO…” (pronounced “Dao”)

Sequence:

  1. Inhale deeply.
  2. Stretch your spine upward as much as possible.
  3. Exhale.
  4. Inhale again, stretch, and turn to the left.
  5. Exhale and return to center.
  6. Inhale, stretch, and turn to the right.
  7. Exhale and return to center.

Exercise 4Buddha Mudra & Silence

Time: 6 minutes
Mudra:

  • Hands in Buddha position (palms facing upward in the lap, right hand resting in left).
  • Thumbs do not touch.

Focus:

  • Close your eyes and feel your own silence.

Mantra to End:

  • Silently or softly chant: SAT NAM (Truth is my identity).

Benefits of This Kriya

  • Breaks ego-conditioning and subconscious hypnosis.
  • Increases self-awareness and mindfulness.
  • Strengthens the nervous system and stabilizes mental energy.
  • Opens the heart to the experience of divine love.
  • Develops the ability to act from conscious choice rather than unconscious reaction.
