1. Preparation
- Choose a quiet place (preferably facing East).
- Light a sesame oil lamp (for Shani / Saturn).
- Place a bowl of water with floating black sesame seeds (Moon + Saturn balance).
- Have incense or dhoop (to honor ancestors).
2. Grounding
- Sit comfortably, spine straight.
- Take 11 deep breaths, inhaling through the nose, exhaling through the mouth, imagining all heaviness leaving your body.
- Visualize a dark new moon sky above you — empty, vast, holding all possibilities.
3. Invocation
- Chant 3 times:
Om Sham Shanicharaya Namah (for Saturn’s karmic grace). - Then chant softly:
Om Somaya Namah (for the Moon’s emotional balance).
This harmonizes the lunar subconscious (Moon) with karmic lessons (Saturn).
4. Shadow Release (Black Moon work)
- Take a paper and write down:
- Fears you carry.
- Patterns you repeat.
- Emotions you repress.
- Whisper: “I see you. I release you into the dark womb of the Moon.”
- Burn the paper in a safe bowl or candle flame.
5. Ancestral Healing (Shani Amavasya work)
- Offer black sesame seeds + a few drops of water to the earth or a sacred bowl while saying:
“May my ancestors be free, may I be free, may all beings be free.” - If you know your lineage prayers (Pitru Tarpan), include them.
6. Silent Meditation
- Sit in silence for 11 minutes.
- Visualize your body surrounded by a deep indigo-blue aura (Saturn) with a silver crescent moon shining within your heart.
7. Closing
- Thank Saturn (Shani Dev) and the Moon.
- Offer a small act of service: feed birds, give food to someone in need, or donate black lentils/blankets (Saturn’s charity).
✨ Outcome:
This combined ritual helps you:
- Release subconscious blockages (Black Moon).
- Dissolve karmic debts and honor ancestors (Shani Amavasya).
- Strengthen emotional + karmic resilience for a new cycle.
